Critical Materials Conference

Since 2008 the EU and other nationals have discussed the criticality of raw materials supply.
For 2013 the European Commission needs to revise its assessment and therefore is revisiting its first findings. The aim of the conference is to exchange views on the various aspects of Criticality and Essentiality of Raw Materials ? technical, commercial, financial and political.
The raw materials assessed will include minerals and metals. Energy products will be covered, but only viewed as a necessary infrastructure for the extractive and downstream processing industry.
