Clays

Common or structural clay products constitute the most basic form of ceramic product and are destined for the building sector where six main groups can be identified:
a) stock, face and hollow bricks for inside and outside walls;
b) gauged bricks, hollow bricks for floors and ceilings;
c) roof tiles, either flat, interlocking or channel shaped;
d) chimney blocks and ventilation-duct conduits;
e) drain pipes;
f) floor tiles.Other than the building sector, common clay is used in particular for making basic terra cotta pottery.
