Industrial Silica Sand and Gravel
The market for silica sand is highly developed in the EU
and North America, and is
destined primarily for use in the glass industry (about 45%
of EU consumption) for
plate glass, special glass (optical, mirrors), crystal, and
container and coloured glass.
It is also used in foundries (about 35% of EU consumption),
electrometallurgy,
construction industry, paints and plastics.
